What this site is

The Jersey Christian Portal (“we”, “the Portal”) is a free community noticeboard. We connect people; we are not a party to any arrangement, contract or transaction between a member and anyone who engages them.

No endorsement, no vetting

Listings are published in good faith and reviewed monthly by the member’s church leadership. That review is a community accountability measure only. It is not a background check, qualification check, insurance check or endorsement — by the church, the pastor or Jersey Christian Portal. You engage any listed person entirely at your own risk and should make your own checks (references, insurance, DBS or equivalent where relevant, especially for work involving children, vulnerable people or access to your home).

Members’ responsibilities

• Describe what you offer honestly and keep your listing current.
• Hold any licences, registrations or insurance your trade requires.
• Only list under a church you genuinely belong to.
• No unlawful, misleading or offensive content.

We may edit, hide or remove any listing or notice, and suspend or close any account, at our discretion — including when a church leader or a member of the public raises a concern.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jersey Christian Portal and those who run it accept no liability for any loss or damage arising from use of this site or from any dealings between members and third parties.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Jersey, Channel Islands.
